Middle School Humanities Teacher Ana Holly created the video above, and she co-leads the Book Buddies WORM Lab. The Book Buddies WORM Lab, inspired by the Cooke Academy's preceding reading challenge, came up with a CGS event to get our students to read more, towards a tasty prize. Ms. Holly summarizes the event and highlights important info about it, in her words below: "Attention CGS, The CGS Reading Challenge begins this Monday May 13th and ends on Friday May 24th. On Monday, students will receive a reading log. Every night students can check off their reading (any amount counts). Students can return their logs on May 24th. If CGS reads 1,000 times we will have a Pizza Party! We cannot wait to read with you! From, The CGS Book Buddies WORM Lab" We thank them for envisioning and promoting this educational event!
In this video, students thank all the teachers, classroom staff, therapists and coaches who guide them in their learning journeys!
