A remarkable amount of time, energy and dedication from all those involved made the play a smashing success.
The student cast members all amazed us with how well they did in their respective roles. Their captivating performances came through the months they spent learning and practicing their parts. As they learned to do in their rehearsals, they spoke, sang, moved and danced with energy and enthusiasm during the play's performances.
We couldn't be more proud of them!
Middle School Assistant Math Teacher Matthew Bessette and Speech Therapist Alexa Schuessler were the co-directors of Beauty and the Beast. They skillfully led and directed the students through those months of rehearsing their acting, lines, songs and movement, with assistance from other CCGS staff members.
Many many thanks go to these professionals, they went above and beyond (giving much of their personal time, including weekends!) in support of the students and the play.
