Yesterday, the students in the Willow, Pine, Maple, Oak and Beech Middle School groups showed their great ability to support, respect and work with each other, during several afternoon activities. The Middle School students spent 2 periods focusing on ways to maintain and strengthen their connections as classmates, and as people working and learning together. In Humanities Room 401, the students took turns receiving and giving compliments to one another: In Humanities Room 402, the students talked about acts of kindness, and shared the ways they have helped and shown compassion for others in school and in their lives: In Mathematics Room 403, the students worked together, shared their knowledge and demonstrated excellent teamwork as they played a trivia game: In Science Room 404, the students shared their and learned each others' birthdays and birth months, discovering connections that they have: The students had lots of fun during the activities, giving praise to and showing respect for each other throughout.
