The staff noted and placed cotton balls in jars when they saw students doing things such as giving compliments, using a quiet voice, showing respect to one another, following directions the first time, demonstrating whole body listening, and raising a quiet hand.
After months of those positive behaviors, the students met their goal --
they had filled enough jars with cotton balls to have a party as a reward!
The cohorts decided on pizza, tacos and ice cream as their rewards, which made for a fun feast today on the Madison building's roof.
In between eating the students hung out, socialized and played together too.
